1. What is the Dext Affiliate Program? 

The Dext Affiliate Program allows third party affiliates to earn commissions by referring new Business customers to Dext (i.e. SMB customers that pay for their own subscriptions). Each affiliate receives a unique referral link, and when a prospective customer signs up using that link and subscribes to a Dext Business plan, the affiliate earns commission on the revenue generated from that subscription.

2. How do I apply to become a Dext Affiliate? 

To apply, you need to complete the Dext Affiliate Program application form here. After submitting your application, Dext will review it and notify you of your acceptance status within 14 days. If you do not hear back within 14 days, your application is considered rejected.

3. What are the commission rates for Dext Affiliates?

As an affiliate, you'll earn a commission based on a percentage of the customer's subscription revenue (after discounts, before taxes) for the first six months. For monthly subscriptions, the commission is 50% of revenue. For annual plans, it's 70% of the first six months’ subscription revenue (which equates to 35% of the first year’s full-year revenue). If a customer switches from monthly to annual within the first six months, you'll earn 50% for the monthly period and 70% for the subsequent 6 months of the annual period. The maximum commission per customer is capped at £500 (or equivalent in other currencies). Please refer to the detailed T&Cs for more information.

4. Are there any limits on the number of customers I can refer? 

Yes, you can refer up to 100 customers within any rolling 12-month period. Referrals beyond this limit will not be eligible for commission.

5. What happens if a customer I referred requests a refund? 

If a referred customer receives a refund, the commission you earned from that customer will be deducted from future commission earnings.

6. How do I receive my commission payments? 

Commission payments are processed through the Partnerstack platform. You will be paid after the customer transaction has been confirmed and the locking period specified in the Affiliate Tool has passed. Payment is made monthly for eligible transactions. If any requirements are outstanding for more than 3 months after a customer transaction, your right to receive payment for that transaction is forfeited. You must have an active account on the Partnerstack platform with a valid payment method and up-to-date tax documentation.

7. Can I offer discounts to my referred customers?

Yes, as an affiliate, you can offer a 15% first year discount to customers who sign up for a Dext product, using the discount code DEXT-REF6RV7. If you’d like to provide a different discount amount to your referred customers, get in touch with us to discuss your specific needs!

8. What are the eligibility requirements for receiving commissions? 

To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:

• Valid and Accepted Affiliate Leads: The leads you refer must be new potential customers, accepted by Dext, and not already existing or historic customers, nor customers involved in Dext’s active sales process within 60 days prior to your referral.
• Customer Transaction Completion: The referred customer must complete a purchase (i.e. become a paying customer) within 90 days of clicking on your affiliate link. If they purchase after this period, you will not be eligible for a commission.
• Ongoing Customer Subscription: The customer must maintain their subscription during the locking period specified on the Partnerstack platform to ensure commission eligibility.
• Compliance with Program Rules: You must adhere to all Dext Affiliate Program terms, including avoiding practices like misleading advertising, cookie stuffing, or using your own affiliate link to make personal purchases.
• Use of Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and up-to-date information on the Partnerstack platform including listing all websites and domains where you intend to use your affiliate links.

9. What if I breach the terms of the Affiliate Program? 

Dext reserves the right to terminate your participation in the program if you breach the terms, including but not limited to misleading advertising, cookie stuffing, competing with Dext’s ads, or violating applicable laws.

10. Can I promote competing products while being a Dext Affiliate? 

No, affiliates are not allowed to promote competing products or services of Dext. Doing so can result in the termination of your affiliate status.

11. What happens to my commissions if the program is terminated?

If Dext ends the agreement without a valid reason or if you end it with a valid reason: You will still receive any commissions owed to you for customer transactions that are processed and confirmed by Dext within 30 days after the termination date. However, after this 30-day period, you will no longer be eligible to receive any commissions.

If Dext ends the agreement with a valid reason (such as a breach of the agreement), or if you end it without a valid reason: You will lose any right to receive any pending commissions, even if they were due to you before the termination date.

12. What happens if the Affiliate Program terms change? 

Dext may update or replace the terms of the Affiliate Program at any time. You will be notified of such changes via the Partnerstack platform or email. If you do not agree with the changes, you have the option to terminate your participation in the program.

13. How does Dext handle my personal data as an affiliate? 

Dext processes personal data according to its Privacy Policy, which you can review at Dext Privacy Policy. You are also responsible for complying with all applicable data protection and advertising laws.
