She now helps small and solo accounting practice owners (startups to $1.5m in turnover) across Australia and New Zealand have better practices and better lives and helps them have better relationships with their clients and teams through her coaching, consulting, mentoring, online courses, resources and her online community, The Balanced Firm all exclusively designed for that segment of the industry.
Amanda wrote in a pre-pandemic article that she believed that in 2020, small and solo accounting practice owners would be looking for more. More from their practices. More from their lives. And in 2023, Amanda is optimistic that positive and sustainable shifts in practice models will be embraced for practice owners to achieve this.
Amanda also advocates for small and solo accounting practice owners and their clients in her roles with CA ANZ as a member of the Trans-Tasman Public Practice Advisory Committee, the NSW Public Practice Panel and is the Australian-based Practice Mentor for the Practice Peer Mentor Exchange. She also is the small business representative on the ATO’s GST Stewardship Group
