We understand how frustrating it can be to spend hours gathering and reviewing documents, so we've worked hard to develop the most reliable and accurate data capture tool on the market. To continue building the functionalities our customers need and to address rising cost inflation, we now have to update our fees.

Today we are announcing changes to our pricing for Dext Prepare.

The increase will take effect from 1st August and will enable us to continue investing heavily in these 3 key areas:

1. Product accuracy and stability

2. Product feature development

3. Customer support

Here are some of the developments we have made over the past years which make Dext the market-leading bookkeeping productivity software for businesses:

1. Accuracy and stability

Five years ago, we measured our turnaround times in days and the number of processed transactions rarely reached 5,000 a day. Fast forward to the 1st March 2022, we hit a huge milestone in our Data Extraction space, processing over 1 million transactions within 24-hours, equating to approx 12 items per second, with an astonishing average turnaround time of 8 minutes.

During this time, we have constantly refined and improved our extraction engine to bring you 16x faster processing times and 99% accuracy, making Dext Prepare the unbeatable market leader.

2. Product feature development

Here are just some of the improvements you’ve seen in the past years:

• In the past 5 years, Dext Prepare alone has seen 337 new features released.

• 33 new integrations, including 21 General Ledger integrations, making us the most integrated software on the market.

• Improved integration stability - you can trust that your integration with Dext won’t let you down.

• Our Bank Statement Extraction service is dramatically faster, despite a steady increase in submission volume and number of supported banks.

• Dext Prepare supports over 11 thousand banks and institutions, most including bank feed connections.

• 9 submission methods to easily upload paperwork, including mobile app, email-in and auto-invoice fetching.

• Invoice Fetch automatically retrieves invoices from over 1,600 businesses, including Amazon and Uber.

• Store your data for up to 10 years using Dext Prepare's bank-level encryption.

We run frequent consultations with our customers and will continue to do so to ensure that our products offer the functionality you need.

3. Customer support

Our world-class customer support is available around the clock to ensure you always access the assistance you need. Our Help Centre is filled with all the information about Dext and it’s the quickest way to find instructions and guides. Alternatively, our team is available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week via email, telephone or online chat. We are continuing to invest in this area to further reduce our response times.

Throughout our website and channels, there are tons of resources to ensure you get the most out of our platform. In addition to that, Dext Academy gives you access to industry experts covering the topics you need to know about to drive even more success to your business.

Besides keeping in line with inflation, this pricing update will allow us to keep improving our services and developing new features to help you, delivering even more value for your subscription. Still, we understand that a price increase is never pleasant news.

Please rest assured that this decision was not taken lightly, and we understand how it affects our customers. We have made every effort to keep this increase to a minimum and will continue to honour current prices up to 31st July. If you have a monthly plan the price change will take effect on 1st August.
